Blackhawk Pioneers Picnic
There were 20 plus visually -impaired members of the Pioneers that attended this event. Brats, Burgers, and Dogs were on the menu, we also had 20 plus members from both our Beloit Lions Club and the Janesville Lions Club as support staff. The highlight of the evening was the beautiful voice of a Rockford Pioneer member Jennifer Perdue, she graced us with the music from Patsy Cline. It was a great evening and a great turnout.
We had two Golf Outings last year, one was at Glen Erin Golf Club. And the other was at the Stoughton Club. These are two great fundraisers for our club, not the biggest but a lot of fun and great food and beverages and door prizes.
